They also charged additional fees upon check in that I'm not entirely sure what they were for. We stayed here less than 16 hours, and that was only because it took me a little while to get another resort lined up. Instead I disputed the charges with our credit card. They refused to let us cancel and refund the rest of our stay. The ceiling looked as though it was about to fall down, the nails were rusted and popping out of the drywall and it was extremely wavy. There was a loud hum/vacuum noise from the doors not sealing all the way, we had to put towels down to stop the noise. The giant glass bathroom door had fallen loose on the hinges and stuck on the floor and could not be opened or closed passed the halfway point. The shower water never got warm, we ran it for close to 30 minutes before just giving up on warm water and rinsing in cool water. The AC vent was rusted and leaking water everywhere. This "Resort" was AWFUL!! There was black mold in our room. Unfortunately, the service at this hotel is pretty bad, so much so, that even though we loved the room, the view and the location, we will not be staying here ever again. These are just a few examples of the poor customer service we received during our stay. After texting NUMEROUS times, and waiting for 45 minutes to be let back into the hotel, my husband and I had to scale the wall to get back inside. To get back in, you have to again, text them. Around 5pm, the gate to the beach is locked so you have to get a staff member to let you out onto the beach. After repeated texts I was assured it would be delivered promptly, never got it. I requested coffee be delivered at 8am to our room, it never arrived. The 4th day, the microwave went out, after repeated texts and in person requests, the microwave was never fixed during our entire stay. Our 2nd day, AC went out, took 2 days to fix. There are no phones in the room, so you have to text the staff with any needs through the What's App app. This hotel has beautiful rooms with amazing views, however the service from the staff was less than adequate.
